Physical description

“Why do necromancers always look so… Dull?”

Clari is about five foot eight inches tall with a very slim and frail looking figure, her skin is a bright honey yellow colour with a similar glow, her hair is a dark green leaf like colour and eyes are a bright and brilliant blue colour.

Personality traits

Being a versed and experienced necromancer, Clari knows that life is a short and fragile thing. Because of this and a generally sweet nature she likes to look after her friends and make sure that everyone is doing okay, offering support wherever it is needed to try and make her friends time on this world a little better. Although she is not usually morbid about this either. She is rather cheerful most of the time and is usually pretty honest about her feelings. Able to maintain a reasonable level of optimism at all times. Despite her cheerful and kind nature she is by no means a naive or weak woman, able to stand up for herself and others when threatened or insulted. Her caring nature not at all stopping her from being able to have fun with her friends. However she feels terrible should one of her jokes be taken too far.

Combat abilities

“I am not easy prey for the dark of the world.”

While Clari may appear to be weak and frail, she is able to overwhelm her enemies with minions after perfecting flesh magic summoning. She also brings a wide array of curses to weaken her enemies and leave them vulnerable to the assault of minions and rending attacks she unleashes. Her frail nature appears to be beneficial when it comes to avoiding attacks, being quick on her feet to avoid attacks, assuming anything can get through the waves of flesh and bone to reach her in the first place.

Early life

Clari was born around the same time as Mivenia, knowing her when they were both saplings. She was born with a minor understanding of necromancy, enough to travel and protect herself well, but this understanding of life and death lead to an innate curiosity about the human gods. After some time in the grove and Caledon she had traveled up to Divinitys reach to learn about Grenth, Grenths priests and Dhuum. Discovering more about the mists and the underworld. The priests told her about the Grenth statue in the shiverpeaks, telling her how it was a gateway to the underworld too, this lead her on a journey across to see this for herself.

The old man & priory study

On her travels across the shiverpeaks she met scholars from the priory, spending a reasonable amount of time there reading more into necromancy, practicing her magic for self defence while getting to know some people in the priory, including moreera. In her travels she also met a strange old human man living alone in the shiverpeaks, this man was unusually versed in necromancy, knowing things not recorded by the priory. But the more unusual habit the old man had was his reluctance to tell anybody his name. Despite this, Clari developed a family like bond with the man, who cared for her like his own child. For several years she would stop by the old mans shack and the priory, learning more and more

Now

When the old man died, he insisted that Clari carry his skull as a focus, demanding that she carry a part of him for all her future adventures and all the good she would do in the world. After contacting her old friends, she found her way to the refuge to make more friends.
