Physical description

Yve is about five foot eight inches tall with light blue skin, decorated in a patched dark blue pattern, her hair is dark blue and resembles the leaves of a soft plant, her eyes are bright blue. Yve generally speaks in a calm, kind and cheerful tone, Yve also seems to have the sylvari equivalent of freckles and pink sections of her lips, resembling natural lipstick.

Personality traits

Yve is soundless, as a sapling she prefered the solitude of soundlessness to the dream of dreams, through hard work she would travel the world and meditate to further break her connection to the pale tree, she had one ideal goal, to achieve absolute focus through meditation. She has a cheerful and charismatic personality, she will often compliment people and try to get along with them, often taking a sympathetic approach to people and their ideals or morals. It is difficult to provoke her, though when she is angry, she becomes assertive and brave, standing up to people who insult her. It’s seen that in intense stress, she can be eerily silent. It’s unknown if this is due to psychological trauma or something else.

Background

For most of her life she has been soundless, wandering from place to place for many years, she would mediate between locations to focus more on keeping her connection to the pale tree loose. In one such location at the age of four, she was captured and held by bandits as a prisoner… These bandits did terrible things to her, including using her as target practice and a living test subject for many different toxins and potions. She was considered the lab-rat of a twisted alchemist bandit hiding out in the brisban wildlands. Through these years and the abuse she endured, her mind was subject to all kinds of torture, her meditative state all that was keeping her from madness.
Many years passed and Yve had almost been killed by the bandits several times, her focus and power growing through the years until the age of seven.

The institute

After a lapse in the bandits defences and patrols, after a month of extensive meditation, Yve was able to break out of her cell, where she began to brutally eliminate many of the bandits who had previously tortured her. But they didn’t go without a fight. In a final desperate attempt of escape, Yve threw herself into a lake, sure she would be killed by the fall. Only to lay on the shore of the lake, barely conscious where she was saved by Bret. Who had seen her fighting. He quickly hired her, helping her by giving her the funding to travel to elona and study the arts of spellbreaking.
