Inquest Golemnetics Division (DISBANDED)

The Inquest Golemnetics Division was created with the intention of building golems for asuran society, of both war machines and other commonplace necessities. Their focus eventually shifted into integrating asura into these machines in order to artificially evolve the species as a whole. Though the facility had been running for many years, in early 1324 AE an incident occured within the facilities mainframe, causing all integrated golems to spark out of control, beginning to go on a mad rampage to kill or integrate all survivors. After the facility was abandoned and rescue teams did not come out, the Inquest as a whole pulled a plug on the project and buried it away, hoping for it to never be seen again… To this day, the facility within Metrica crawls with the self-sustaining golems, as well as new ones created by the self-knowing facility.

…Until recently, when members from a place known as the Refuge went on multiple expeditions into the complex, fighting their way through the various machines and previous inhabitants until finally making their way to the mainframe, where after a long and arduous battle the core was destructed from the inside, sending the facility into a large ball of fire which utterly obliterated the complex once and for all, destroying anyone within who didn’t make it out in time.

At last, the spirits of the tortured who resided within that complex were finally freed, and allowed to pass on to the next life.
