life

• Bonny has a colourful elonian ancestry, tracing back to Dajkah corsairs over two hundred years ago.
• One such ancestor apparently stole treasure from the Awakened which resulted in him being hunted down. He hid the treasure somewhere in the Dajkah isles before fleeing to Lions arch in 1225. Some day Bonny wants to go and find this treasure.
• Ever since 1225 her family has been really close to lions arch. Not straying too far from it, either staying in the city, working for the priory or living in Applenook hamlet.

Atherblade betrayal

• Bonny grew up being extremely confident in her ability to cause trouble, this eventually led to her wanting to be a pirate like her ancestors. When she saw promises that the Aetherblade would provide adventure and riches. She joined them rather quickly. Being on board of one airship, code named “T-UND-CH1”
• Upon hearing of plans for the airship to move onto her home city of lion’s arch, She betrayed her crew, killing them one by one in their sleep before throwing the captain overboard at 150 ft in the air.
• Shortly after this, she stole the airship, attempted to hand it over to the lionguard who then promptly inspected the vessel, ripped it of the aetherblade colours and allowed Bonny to keep it.
  Bonny has since upgraded the ships capabilities and deemed it the name “THUNDERCHILD” by painting the hull label a little more.

Post-Aetherblade life

• Bonny once lost the airship to some Aetherblade remnants in 1330, with help from the refuge she survived being trapped by centaurs.
• Once she had reclaimed the airship. She owed the refuge, soon becoming a somewhat distant member of the group as the airship pilot.
• Bonny has been the pilot for a handful of missions in the past, including taking the group to and from Elona, assisting Varek in avenging his brother and extracting Sola from Vabbi.
• For a while after the elona expedition, she went to Istan to find leads on her family treasure.
• After a recent mission in Istan, She has a map leading to her family treasure.

Present day

• After a search through Dajkah for her ancestors legendary treasure, it was discovered that the Apep family was a split from the Aches family tree. Her ancestor (Anser Apep) Was in fact a member of the aches family who took to disrupting Joko from the seas as a corsair.
• Accipiter and Bonny went to Bonny’s family in lions arch, accipiter meeting most of Bonny’s family and explaining the news and offering them a new home with Accipiter.
• Accipiter gave bonny the soulstone of her ancestor, which she has equipped on her new sword.

General Trivia

• “Bonny” is not her real name, her name is actually “Kahina” meaning “the diviner, the fortuneteller” Her actual surname is unknown and her reasons for not telling anyone range between shame or wanting to protect her family.
• She has never said what her family treasure is, but it is clear that Bonny has no idea what it is either. (Later found out to be a sunspear dagger holding a soulstone.)
• To the corsairs of Istan, she earned the nickname “Bon Bon” due to her sweet nature.
• She was never actually the captain of the ship, She was tasked with weapons maintenance on the ship. Once she killed the captain she took this mantle.
• It was once hinted to her she may have roots in Elonian nobility. She never investigated this further. (Distantly related to the Aches Family)
• After keeping it quiet for a long time, it was recently revealed her Surname was “Apep”
• Bonnys birthday is on Colossus 30th (october 30th)
