Physical description

Emily is about five foot four inches in height with a curvy figure, grey/black hair which falls down to her shoulders, pale green eyes, her skin is pale with her cheeks decorated with light freckles. She has a scar on her left upper thigh from the Greyskull estate.

Personality traits

Emily is kind hearted and gentle, she tries to put on a mature face in public and while working, however her young age often betrays this with a stubborn, childish and sometimes clumsy nature at times. She is overprotective of Garen and can show a rather bossy and assertive side when he is in danger or she is concerned. She tries her best to care for every one of her friends. Unfortunately moments of anger or assertion are followed by sadness and shyness, where she hides from people she may snap at.

life

• As a young girl, Emily was eerily quiet, only having a few friends, always being well mannered and well behaved for her parents.
• At birth, she was blessed by a priest of grenth called Sampson, who has looked after her for her whole life. Sampson was a second father to her.
• One of these friends was Eliza, A beautiful girl the same age as Emily who later on became a priestess of Dwayna. Eliza and Emily once said they would get married as best friends.
• As a child she was often protected by her older brother, Vincent. Vincent was a follower of Balthazar and a brilliant fighter, he taught Emily how to fight despite her never needing this due to an amazing lack of enemies growing up.
• At age six she would travel from her home town of Claypool to the eldvin monastery. At age ten, she traveled to Divinitys reach for the first time, Spending more time watching Sampson work.
• At age twelve, her parents agreed to allow her to join the temple of Divinitys reach. As an assistant priestess of grenth. It would take her until the age of sixteen to become a full member of the clergy.

White mantle invasion

• In the 1330 invasion of Divinitys reach, Emily helped her mentor Sampson fight white mantle away from the temple. Before the pact Commander could fend them off for good. In doing so. Sampson sacrificed himself to Save Emily, binding his spirit to his sword. Sampson grants Emily his strength when using this.
• After the invasion left her traumatised and afraid of the white mantle, she left the temple, hearing rumours of an ancient spot in the northern silverwastes where the veil between worlds was thinner. In this, she came to the refuge and joined. Since she has kept maintenance of the temple, where the veil is thin.

Garen and the Greyskull estate

• Emily tried her best to help the refuge investigate a strange story about an ascalonian knight known as “Garen Volkyr” who had been kept in stasis due to chronomancy for over two hundred years.
• After bonding with the man and helping him overcome the difficulties of coming to the present day. Garen developed a romantic interest in her, The first romantic interest anyone had ever shown in Emily. After some awkward figuring things out. The two eventually got together.
• Later down the line, her and Garen Ventured into the Greyskull estate to slay the flesh creature, in a last ditch effort to end someones life, the creature exploded, launching a spike through the young woman’s thigh, this almost killed Emily. A scar exists there to this day. But not all scars from that expedition are physical…

Elona and Vincent

• After over two hundred years of separation, The temple of divinity had sent Emily on her first big mission, she was assigned to travel to Elona to establish contact with the Temple of Kormir. While also searching for her brother, who was last seen heading to Elona.
• After a difficult search, Emily and Garen had found her brother slain by The forged and transformed into one. After a difficult battle, Emily and Garen had to kill him. Emily is still mourning the loss to this day.

General trivia

• While Emily has the hood of her robes on, It is extremely unclear how old she actually is, if this is due to magic or simply a coincidence it is unclear.
• It is a closely guarded secret that Emily has a collection of stuffed animals at her and Garens home in the refuge.
• Emily does not understand her nickname of “cinnamon roll” and used to think people were planning to eat her. It’s not entirely clear if she was serious or not.
• Emilys birthday is on Colossus 18th (October 18th)
