Gadrieth is a very curious young sylvari, often disregarding danger to sate her curiousity for new things and exploration. Soon after her birth she set out, already wandering around and exploring every bit of Tyria she could. That exlporation eventually brought the young sylvari into contact with the soundless which she became one of very soon.

Her main strenghts lay in magic of air and water, the initial knoweldge of how to control said elements coming to her by an artifact sword which she does not know the origin of, only the place where she found it. Her notebook accompanies her at all times holding information precious to her, seeing that her curiosity is limitless this information is basically anything interesting she learns or deems important enough that she would like to remember it.

Her way to the refuge was not the most exciting or unique, but very important for her nontheless. After meeting Ikaros, and eventually Boa and Bret in Ebonhawke by a chance, and upon them learning that she lacked a place to call home she was invited over to the refuge. That act alone being enough for her to count the three amongst her friends, holding them in high regard.
