Early years

Isabelle’s youth was nothing particularly exciting nor interesting. The only fact separating her from any other normal child was her frailty. Born incredibly weak and on verge of death her parents struggled to keep her alive, which luckily they evetually did. Almost weekly different doctors, healers, spiritualists and priests came to check up on her, to no avail. Her condition was a mystery still untill one day, a necromancer was brought in to try and measure her life force. What he found out was something he’s never seen in his life before. The girl’s life force seemed to be in the state of constant slow decay, effectively causing her to be slowly dying. The necromancer offered to teach young Isa when she came to age of eight years old, to which her parents and later on she herself agreed, not being able to attend school properly made her try that much harder at educating herself and mastering certain aspects of necromancy.

The Institute

As years went on and Isabelle was training under the necromancer, everything seemed to go well in her life. She learned how to control life force flow with extreme precision due to her not being able to expend as much. Another thing that caught her eye at once was blood magic, which she dedicated most of her time to. Her mentor however, seemed to be vanishing more and more often for increased periods of time during her teenage years. It wasn’t until close to her sixteenth birthday that a man came to visit, a man she would later get to know as Bret Greyskull. As she soon found out her mentor was not who he seemed to be all this time, instead being leader of a necromantic cult sacrificing people to whatever wicked deity they believed in, sacrificing to which her parents were victim to and Isabelle herself was supposed to be in time aswell. After some disbelief she decided to side with The Institute, eventually managing to break the cult and subsequently join the organisation.

Present time

Currently the nineteen years old Isabelle, along with some of her closest coworkers and friends resides in the Refuge after the awakened assaulted one of the old Inquest facilities The Institute was using as a base. After helping out the Refuge on a few mission she grew much closer to some of it’s people, eventually even finding a place for herself inside of the Refuge where she now resides. After the supposed death of Bret Greyskull Isabelle was extremely affected by the fact, isolating herself from everyone for a time. Not all was bad however, as the girl seemingly found someone she deeply cares about amidst all the bad things happening.
