Description

Mira stands at modest five foot two inches tall (158cm). Her skin is light blue, decorated in a dotted pattern of dark blue. Her face is adorned with bright spots resembling freckles while her lips have a small pink section in the middle, her hair made of soft plant matter being of dark blue color and arranged into twirled up twintails. She usually talks in an energetic, joyful and overal cheerful way.

Personality

Mira is a Soundless though she was not always one, while her twin sister preffered Soundlessness since she was a sapling Mira kept to the Dream. The contrast of the two quite apparent as they traveled the world together. Her personality is quite cheerful and somewhat childlike, this together with her attention span being about as good as a puppy make her seem almost like a sapling at times. She is quick to compliment people, even getting quite close with most. Her understanding of emotions and discomfort of other people is however quite badly warped by her past experiences, causing the sylvari to take most serious things rather as a game and making her seem quite cold at times. At times where she does indeed seem focused fully on the situation is when she thinks her fellow colleagues are in danger, this however for the most part no being due to any symphaties but simply her doing her job as told. She is not quick to agression, being very uncaring about most things apart from Yvenon of which she tends to get extremely overprotective.

Background

Most of Mira’s life was spent as a Dreamer, her Soundless nature only coming later on. As she kept travelling around with Yvenon in her quest to loosen her connection to the Dream she was eventually captured by bandits alongside her twin. It was only during this imprisonment that she started to turn more into meditation, partially to escape the horrors they had to endure on a daily basis, partially because the experience made her understand not everything the Tablet tries to teach Sylvari really applies and works as a life ideology. Through the years she honed her skills in healing magic as much as she could to help ease her and her sister’s pain caused by their constant abuse and to keep them both alive.

The Institute

After careful preparation and their eventual escape from the bandit’s clutches the two sylvari found themselves saved by Bret and eventually hired to the Institute. The sisters were sent to Elona then, with Mira helping Yvenon on her path to learning the powers of Spellbreaking and herself delving into studying the arts of Firebrands. With Yve eventually being recalled back to the mainland Mira spent some amount of time alone in Elona then, not many information of what she was doing there known by anyone but the sylvari herself.
