The Institute

Foundation

The institute was founded on Phoenix 66th 1321 as a covert way for Bret to find a cure for his older brothers coma and a way to safely wake Albert from his state, over time to build up trust between other researchers of similar subjects the institute branched out from simple medical studies into artifacts and the occult, fighting and finding things people wouldn’t believe through stories alone. This lead to the established base in lions arch where most of their artifacts are hidden safely.

Present day

Ever since Alberts awakening in inquest custody as a bargaining chip with Bret, the institute continues to research dangerous items of occult or unknown origin in a collaborative deal with the Durmand Priory. This changed slightly, however when the Greyskull estate was cleansed of the corruption, resulting in the long term goals of the institute reaching completion. Now the institute has diverted long term priorities to the support of the refuge.
